The Better Homes and Gardens Cross Stitch Book Series is easily my personal favorite cross pattern book collection. 

Each book is filled with beautiful cross stitch patterns for Christmas.  It is hard to know which cross stitch project to start first! 

Handmade Heirlooms is just one of the books from the series and it is packed with lots of great projects like the beautiful poinsettia pattern shown on hand towels below.

Cross Stitch is easy and an awesome way to create your own gorgeous artwork!  I love to cross stitch.  I have made several pictures for our own home and many cross stitch projects to give a gifts over the years.

Some cross stitch pictures have special significance and become family heirlooms.  Others are just for fun!

DECORATIVE PAINTING for CHRISTMAS

I have a niece who loves to paint beautiful designs on glass ornaments, mugs, plates, etc. for Christmas.  I have been the grateful recipient of several of these gorgeous gifts.  Each year, I lovingly unwrap them and carefully display them.  Every time I look at either of the gifts, I think of my precious niece.  I imagine her carefully applying each stroke of paint to create a gift of beauty.

This book has several Christmas designs, as well as, fall and winter designs.  All of the designs are beautiful.  It is really hard to choose which project to paint first!  There is something in the book for everyone.

This holly leaf and peppermint design is one of my personal favorites.  Not only is this plate perfect for serving treats to my family, but it is especially appropriate for offering Santa's cookies :)

These little gingerbread men are adorable on the featured teapot and mugs.  I love this tea set design, but there is no need to  restrict yourself to teapots, mugs and plates.  Allow yourself to explore different mediums.  Who knows, you may even find yourself painting a lovely design on the outside of your pets dinner bowl!

A Christmas to Remember is filled with fabulous cross stitch patterns! 

Over the years, I have collected thousands of cross stitch patterns and hundreds of cross stitch pattern books.  My absolute favorite cross stitch books are the collection by Better Homes and Gardens entitled A Cross Stitch Christmas.  In this article, I will specifically focus on A Christmas to Remember which is only one of the books in the series.

Cross Stitch is such an easy needlework that really anyone can learn to create beautiful pictures, home decorations, magnets, bookmarks, stockings etc. The ideas truly are limitless!  This book has tons of suggestions and patterns.  Let me give you a few examples of what you will find between the covers of this awesome book.

This hardcover book is definitely one you will want to add to your library!  The hard part will be deciding which cross stitch pattern and project you will want to make first.

QUICK & EASY SEWING FOR CHRISTMAS

I truly love to make gifts for friends and family to give as Christmas gifts or for other special occasions.  Even during the summer months, I make Christmas decor and apparel so it will be ready long before the rushed days just prior to the Christmas holidays.   Several family members have birthdays in early fall and they really appreciate receiving new Christmas related gifts.

This book has so many ideas and patterns that it is really hard to choose which project to make first!  I love having so many choices.  There is something in the book for everyone.
